Willesden Euro Terminal Update

This fantastic drone footage shows an ariel view of the beating heart of the logistics operation for HS2 London Tunnels – Willesden Euroterminal and the Area South Logistics Hub. The site includes a 150,000 tonne stockpile area, which is a major rail freight hub for HS2, with the wider logistics team operating out of a reconditioned building on the old Willesden Euroterminal Site. At its peak, the site will run up to 45 trains per week, disposing c. 60,000 tonnes of spoil across 3 locations in England. Each train removes 83 lorries from the road, freeing up our current road infrastructure and reducing pollution of noise and air across London for HS2. The rail operation is managed by the LIS team via our custom-built system, BulkSmart, which enables us to plan, monitor and track train movements within the yard and on the wider network.
